Traveling Europe

I just got back from Europe and I absolutely loved it! I took a cruise that stopped in Italy, France, and Spain and then I explored Paris and Mont st Michel. I have some advise at the bottom for all my fellow travelers. Here are a couple photos from my trip.

Rome:
How to do all of Rome in 6 hours..
Start at the Baths of Caracalla, then walk to the Colosseum (go inside!),  the Roman forum is right next to the Colosseum and it is worth going into! it also has a great place to get a nice picture of the Colosseum if you go in the back where there is a big grassy area. Walk to the Piazza VeneziaWe then took a little trolly to the Pantheon, then the Trevi Fountains, and finally the Sistine Chapel. Many things are not open on Mondays and make sure to get to the church right next the Forum before 11am if you would like to see the famous Moses statue. If you go to the roman baths first, you can buy a pass that will let you into everything! including the Colosseum and it is only 23 euros. We completely skipped the long line to go into everything it was great.

Paris:
At 9pm the eiffel tower sparkles for 5 minutes, if you are in paris do not miss out on it!
Buy an all day metro pass in paris, it will save you tons of money and time.
I was able to do everything in Paris in a day, there is a lot but the metro makes it easy. The Palace of Versailles takes all day (at least 5 hours) but it is worth seeing! The gardens alone took me 3 hours and I didn't even see everything.

Other things to know:
Girls! Your hair irons will not work in Europe unless you get an electrical voltage converter. If you stay in an American hotel, like Holliday Inn, they have American plugs.
Most of the chapels have dress code, so ladies make sure to cover your legs and shoulders.

Research everything before you leave!
And make sure to see when things are open and close because they are quite random.
