Valentines Day Postcard
So I'll admit it, Im starting to get lazy! I have not been in the mood to send any super cute packages anymore! Thank goodness I leave for my mission in 2 weeks because then I actually have an excuse for not sending packages to my missionary anymore haha. Just Kidding I am sure he is just as grateful for my letters as the packages :) Anyways! for Valentines Day I just did this and I sent it as a postcard. It is a lot easier than I thought it would be. I always thought that you had to get them specially made, but I just wrote a little message on the left and his address on the right and a stamp on the top right corner and then your good! Woohoo! haha easy enough right?! told ya I'm getting lazy ;)

Life as We Know it
So I haven't really talked about myself a ton on my blog yet.
Last year I was able to fly for free which was totally awesome!
I went to BYU-I during fall semester, but now I am living in Vegas.
I leave for my LDS mission on February 26th,
so needless to say I have nothing to do.
so needless to say I have nothing to do.
I used to have a ton of school work and when I finally got a little free time I would hop on a plane and go to another country.
It is now 2014 so my flight benefits are up.

My boy friend is on his mission,
he is serving in the Denver South Mission.
he is serving in the Denver South Mission.
I can't believe he has almost been out 6 months now! January 31st will be his 6 month mark.
I miss him so much. I can't wait for the day when I can run back into his arms.
If you are familiar with the LDS religion and LDS missionaries,
you will already know this, but guys(elders) serve a mission for 2 years
and girls(sisters) serve for 18 months.

Sometimes they will keep you a couple weeks late or ship you back a couple weeks early, it just depends on your mission. So I still do not know if Elder Joseph Dallin Rosequist(yes thats him!) will come back before or after me. We will only be a couple weeks apart at most.
We both plan to attend BYU-I together after our missions and then we will see what happens after that. Isn't life so exciting?! You never know what is next. It is just one big adventure!
I am so excited to serve the people of Melbourne Australia.
I hope I come back with an awesome accent!
I have exactly 40 days before I leave for the MTC, and besides working in the temple 4 days a week, I have nothing to do! I study my scriptures and sometimes hang out with my friends
but I want to find something exciting and spontaneous to do!

If anyone has any awesome ideas I would love to hear them.
Anyways, yep thats me!

100 DAYS OUT!
So my missionary has been out for 100 days now! I wrote down 100 things I love about him, folded it up, and sent it to him. He wrote me back this week telling me how much he enjoyed it. I miss him so much.. as you can probably tell from all the things I send him. He is pretty much the best!(:
Send a Hung Miles Away
I got this idea from my roommate after my missionary challenged me. I sprayed a couple of his letters with my perfume, but I guess it made him miss my hugs. He said "I bet you can't send a hug in the mail though!"Challenge accepted! Anyways, I think this would be super cute to send to a missionary or even a soldier who is deployed. A family I knew had all the kids do this and they sent it to a far away family member. I have also seen people print out pictures of their faces and glued them on the paper.

October Missionary Package
I had so much fun help making this for my missionary. A women who attends church with me does cute things like this for a living. She is a really great friend of mine and we decided to make this together. She did most of the work, I am definitely not this talented but I am learning!
Her email is: Bourgault@cox.net
She has all the information and where to get everything including an amazing program for your computer.

Cookie Jars
My missionary absolutely loves these cinnamon chocolate chunk and Oreo chocolate chip cookies. So I stacked them tight into mason jars, wrapped them in bubble wrap, and stuck them in a box full of other sweets and goodies. Lets hope they make it to Colorado ok!

Love My Missionary
Elder Rosequist just left for the MTC on July 31st. He is serving an LDS mission in Denver Colorado. I love to paint whenever I can and I found myself with a lot of time on my hands after he left. This is what I ended up painting and I absolutely love it! I used a square canvas and pastel paints with some simple paint brushes. I got all of the supplies from Michael's and if you have their app, they always have coupons. It saved me 10 bucks!
